Supporting Women In prison

£130 of £2,400 raised
It is common for those women who are serving a prison sentence to become a forgotten part of society. While they are serving a prison sentence for committing a crime, it is often the case that the government will overlook them and neglect them as people and human beings who have a chance to become rehabilitated and make a fresh start in life. At Serving Hands UK, our Women in Prison project is focused on ensuring those women who are in prison have the hope that they can find a new path in life once they have completed their sentence. We ensure that they have the right resources and foods while we also provide them with retraining once they are released, making them feel part of the community once again. We also offer a prayer of salvation and full rehabilitation for those who are imprisoned in developing countries. This process has started with those women who are imprisoned in Ghanaian prisons. Through the correct training and guidance, we can provide them with the opportunity to take back control of their life.
